My room offered a comfortable king suite with very effective air conditioning. I appreciated the responsiveness when some noise from a party below became noticeable late one night. The front desk addressed my concern quickly. The hotel's decor is unique and beautiful. The building has historic elements with modern amenities.

I noticed a slight mustiness, likely due to the building's age.

charming historical stay

helpful staff relaxing space unique character

the staff was helpful with directions and recommendations (i especially loved the walking tour suggestions). the courtyard was a relaxing space with comfortable seating and a fountain. the hotel's historical details were well-preserved.

the room lacked a microwave, which would have been convenient for heating up leftovers.

the room had a king-sized bed and a work desk. the bathroom featured marble countertops and a rainfall shower. fresh towels were provided daily and the room was cleaned thoroughly (the housekeeping service was prompt).

The suite had a large kitchen, i found it very convenient. the location seemed excellent with restaurants and shops nearby. i found the staff friendly.

i noticed some noise from the street. i could clearly hear conversations from the bar. the prom in the courtyard added to the noise, unfortunately.

historical atmosphere friendly staff easy walk

I appreciated the clean, historical atmosphere. the staff was friendly. victor always greeted me. addy at the front desk provided efficient check-in. i loved the location for accessing the gaslamp district. Bars and restaurants were an easy walk.

I could easily hear street noise. i wish there were earplugs. the windows were thin. The pedicabs were loud. i hope they address this soon.

spacious room good touch safe location

I adored the spacious room! The fireplace was such a nice touch. Its proximity to restaurants and clubs is fantastic. The hotel and location felt safe and clean. Victor Ivy provided excellent recommendations!

The noise from the street was noticeable. Thin windows allowed quite a bit of sound to enter the room. Earplugs should be standard for a better night's rest.

Many diverse restaurants are within a short walk from the hotel. Options range from casual eateries to upscale dining. There is a restaurant for every taste and budget. I found everything I needed!!!

The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Victor provided really good service and great recommendations for local attractions. I experienced a white glove 'hypercare VP' experience !!!
